Based on aboving list, you will find both S5p4418 and S5P6818 have same manufacturing technique, level two cache, and pin definition, but differents on kernel. S5p6818 CPU frequency is 1.4 G+, higher than S5P4418. In this way, the board have been updated well but hardware keep same version, which will save cost on its base board.

G6818 development board contains of stamp hole system on module, base board and LCD board. Its system on module designed 8-layer PCB board which insured its stability. And its base board is of rich peripherals, which can demonstrate all features of G4418 system on module. It supports the Gigabit Ethernet. And LVDS interface, MIPI interfaces and PCIE interface onboard.

 

Also it supports software power switch and dormancy awake. And the LCD takes 7inch TFT as default, and 4.3inch or 5inch as optional. The board supports backlight adjustable too.
